Hmmm... Shakira? Belly dancing? Is that another metaphysical manifestation? Maybe physics? Law of circular motions certainly. Ah, I'm snapped out of metaphysics, thanks O Most Divine One. Time for calmer reflections. Hand over some martinis, if you don't mind, diva most intriguing: www.youtube.com/watch?v=go2wjF7f-zw&mode=related&search=

Lol! I thought martinis are a great cooler-off? But this is a two-edged sword - they can both cool and heat up.
Did we discuss that subject? Mmmmmm would you like further discussion?

In surfing youtube and Internet music sites, I came across these three songs dating back to the 1970s. The first by British singer Dusty Springfield practically blew me away. The power of the raw pain in her voice when she sang the song stopped the breath in my throat and made my heart race. I listened to it several times and each time I feel the song. The lyrics are a cry of anguish that haunt the mind. Who is this diva? Is she still around? The second song is by Frank Sinatra. It awakens nostalgia with visuals of autumn in all its glory. A riot of beautiful colours of leaves of every shape, stately trees and gleaming waters of streams. The third song is by a group called the Duprees, about letting a loved one leave to see the sights of the world. A song of love, secure in its knowledge that the loved one will return. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKnxN9PBvTc&mode=related&search=www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhB8H1YnRF0&mode=related&search=www.youtube.com/watch?v=lh9Uwt54Zyo&mode=related&search=

raw pain is that anything like naked truth kersi sorry to have "poofed" out on you last night welp my receptive energies are recharged , water wings inflated , perked up , ready to occupy my dreams topic quote: Balance is the achievement of an equilibrium of conditions where opposing or similar images, words, or ideas, are held in check -- so then, that one or a series of images or ideas does not skew the reading of the text, and that the reading flows naturally and relates to the readers and listeners. the splendid writer that you are this is possibly an elementary task. to me as visual expressionist is touchy business defining shadows and light within a single form {ie human figure} . requires maturity in skill and clarity in intent . i believe we can apply these individual obsessions to weighing human experience and i 'm suggesting the best way to overcome obstacles is to become yourself www.youtube.com/watch?v=grFSktOx6qothis song is representative to me of the insight available n the shade but also reminds me if you stay in the shade you will fade -- keep a balance chin up positive energy!

Good morning diva :-) First you'll never go, as you put it, poof on me. I bring you with me to my dreams, remember? Secondly I prefer my truths naked, the nakeder the better. If there is such a word. :-) Ah, I see we are back to metaphysics. And the topic is balance. Where's Mae West? If she isn't available, lead me to the next best thing. Pamela Anderson? Dolly Parton? Let these women present themselves before us and show us how they do that balancing trick again. For surely the force of gravity could not be denied and these women should be walking with the upper part of their torso bent over if they had not learnt the art of balance. Of course having a big errrr ass helps maintain the balance. Mamselle diva, you have an excellent general definition of balance. Indeed, for a writer perspective, context, expression, subject matter and language interplay to a set of rules that should ideally give all the components equal measure. Ideally that is. But a poet and writer of satire like myself tend to skew - please note that I said skew and not skew with an "r" in between the "k" and the "e"- the balance in favour of individuality and creativity. I do not doubt an outstanding artist such as yourself would have that much sought-after maturity of skill and clarity of intent. I am a firm admirer of your talent and your art. Thank you for the reminder on keeping the chin up - I only hope life doesn't take a poke at it. Yes! Positive reinforcement is the way to go! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEOMY1iDBfk

Ummm.. something from Jinxxy's recipe board over there. Errr, tomato steak piccolota cherries or something:
Take a few, heck, as much as you like, tomatos.
Squash them with your hands, feet absolutely forbidden, we're not making wine here
Strain through a strainer, if you can't find one, your next best necktie will do
ake out prime beef steaks from fridge. Hammer them on the kitchen counter to tenderize, with much cursing
Soak mangled steaks in the tomato umm what you call that mess, puree?
Transfer the whole sorry thing into deep pot and place on low fire.
Wait for ummmm one hour. Watch Prison Break on the telly, make sure first the show lasts 1 hour and not 1 1/2 hours or your dinner go bye bye
When done, steaks should look real red, the deep pot must have a line of tomato crust all around the rim.
Grate parmesan cheese or any ole cheese will do. Then pick a lotta cherries from the cherry bush outside.
Voila! Tomato steak piccolata cherries.
