You can hear the full version of Elvis' song here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GP3hUe_ONZI&mode=related&search=There are different videos of the same song but this is the one I want you to see and listen to. Just imagine blond hair instead of Elvis' dark hair and that's me :-) I never went into youtube before but after you posted the link to the Louis Armstrong song, I had to learn how to configure my computer to get into youtube. See, you are my inspiration, lady ... :-)

actually in all honesty if i'm digesting the true response to a true kiss i prefer Monteverdi's lamento della ninfa -- probably the saddest song ever composed ..the voice of a broken hearted nymph is harmonized with emotions and contrasted to the background dessonate descending tetrachord vocals. the very best vocal interpretation and only the nymph voice for focus Robin Gorn www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YOAbGrGdg0And you will not receive from those lips Kisses as sweet as mine, Nor softer. Oh, don't speak! Don't speak! you know better than that! - So midst disdainful tears, She spread her crying to the sky; Thus, in the lovers' hearts Love mixes fire and ice.

You are like heady wine to my senses and my mind, madame. As I track what moves you, I find layer after layer of a complex personality. I may never get to the heart of you - I don't know - but for as long as this lasts I am lost in the pursuit. That was a beautiful song beautifully sung. The tragedy of love gone wrong in the lyrics is heart-wrenching. I like Portuguese fado, said to be the heart of the Portuguese soul, full of passion, sorrow, jealousy, grief and sometimes satire. Fado means fate and the themes are constant: destiny, betrayal in love, and despair for the love is often unrequited. The emotions it arouses are a yearning and nostalgia for unrealized dreams. I bought a CD by fado singer Cristina Branco from Amazon.com The best song to me was Mollinera sung acappella. You can hear a sample of her crystalline voice sans any musical accompaniment at the link below. Hope it's a direct link. www.amazon.com/Corpo-Iluminado-Cristina-Branco/dp/B00005BG8I/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2/104-7543027-2632703?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1189645913&sr=1-2Youtube has the CD but featuring the main song Corpus Illuminado or Body of Light and other songs but not Mollinera.

Lol! Good rock music ... is there a message there, I wonder?
Hmmm... :-). I understand the nature of a flame in an icicle, but it's the icicle in the flame that can break this heart.

i have no idea what lyrics the song is of as best i can interpret is the millers love? well anyway my mental architecture being loaded with nonsense nothingness i drifted to the simple haunting truth found in what was and is no more ..even more dissapointment never will ---sighhhhhhh Edwin Arlington Robinson - The Mill The miller's wife had waited long, The tea was cold, the fire was dead; And there might yet be nothing wrong In how he went and what he said: "There are no millers any more," Was all that she had heard him say; And he had lingered at the door So long that it seemed yesterday. Sick with a fear that had no form She knew that she was there at last; And in the mill there was a warm And mealy fragrance of the past. What else there was would only seem To say again what he had meant; And what was hanging from a beam Would not have heeded where she went. And if she thought it followed her, She may have reasoned in the dark That one way of the few there were Would hide her and would leave no mark: Black water, smooth above the weir Like starry velvet in the night, Though ruffled once, would soon appear The same as ever to the sight. NOW THEN WE SEEM TO HAVE MEET THE SPRIAL DOWNWARD catch me when i fall

Your poem fills me with sadness ... a miller's wife seeking oblivion in the embrace of the sea. Did he who swung from the beam ever thought she too would have nothing left to live for?
It seems we have started something that at least two hundred people have read nearly 300 times, madame. I don't know for the life of me where this is heading towards but I will play it to the end.
And what is the end? I don't know, I only know my heart beats wildly whenever I read your words. An ocean divides us but I hold you close within as the downward spiral begins. Those words fill me wth foreboding. Is this the relationship you imagined when you asked what constitutes a relationship on the Relationship Board?

in most respects focus on the attraction gives new and tender experiences their beauty and sweetness ..... i don't think beginnings constitutes relationship in fact once the attraction dwindles the illusion better have some alchemy or the sex real good LOL

Hmmm ... two women romping around here. When women romp around, they're up to no good as surely as night follows day and day follows night.
Jinxx, that baby's bottom is surely asking to be spanked, and Mademoiselle sparkle, that was still a powerful song, whatever the visuals are. Is there anything you might like to convey to me? I am attentive, as always, just a little mystified :-)

Your desire is my desire - I too crave for black coffee, remedy for all ills of the mind and sometimes even the body. I'm smoking now and will soon get my coffee - actions that have become rituals to anchor me to reality.
Mamselle sparkle, I have a suspicion Jinxx is planning either a trick or a treat, it being Halloween season and all. She is mysterious and mischievous, like the sprite in Shakespeare's play Twellfth Night. And she is dear to me too though I know her for far less longer than you do.

Jinxx knows I'll be going soon but this - her place - is really where I feel I belong. I have not joined any of the other boards. When Pat Chu closed down the message boards we were all scattered out into the wilderness but this haven was built and I made my way here. This pad is my sanctum sanctorum...

Like the song of the nymph, this song is one of the most bitter-sweet I have ever heard, written by Alberto Dominguez and performed by the incomparable Laura Fygi. So, for you mamselle : www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7fC3YFronoLyrics in English: Nadie comprende lo que sufro yo Tanto que ya no puedo sollozar Solo temblando de ansiedad estoy Todos me miran y se van To you My heart cries out "Perfidia" For I find you, the love of my life In somebody else's arms Your eyes are echoing "Perfidia" Forgetful of the promise of love You're sharing another's charms With a sad lament my dreams are faded like a broken melody While the gods of love look down and laugh At what romantic fools we mortals be And now I find my love was not for you And so I take it back with a sigh Perfidia's won Goodbye With a sad lament my dreams are faded like a broken melody While the gods of love look down and laugh At what romantic fools we mortals be And now I find my love was not for you And so I take it back with a sigh Perfidia's won Goodbye

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx7vOb7GNBgAna vidovic {much prettier and a lighter touch than master sergovia} the guitar score is sergovia's "Asturias" original piece by spanish composer albeniz recognized as the classic leyenda - is a masterful musical expression " study of firmament of stars"
