Prison Break is an incredible series to watch. It is ludicrous and outrageous. There are holes in the plot that are as big as the mouth of one American Idol contestant that Simon Cowell once said he could drive his car through. Nevertheless, it is worth watching.
The central character is Michael Scofield (actor Wentworth Miller) who deliberately lands himself in prison to rescue his death-row brother who has been framed for a murder.
The break-out in Season 1 is a fantastically ingenious plan. That's coz Michael is not an ordinary guy, he is a genius whose brain processes information differently than other people. Season 2 starts with the fugitives on the outside, searching for a huge amount of money that a convict had stashed away before going to prison.
The acting by the cast is superb. The characters are well fleshed-out, including a guy called T-bag. You wouldn't want to meet him on a dark night, heck on any night, and in the day as well. It won't matter if you are male or female. T-bag does them all.
There's everything for everybody. Fans of Desperate Housewives would like Prison Break - every other person is a guy. Aficionados of conspiracy theories will be pleased that none other than the Vice-President of the US, a woman, is involved in the shenanigans. Give this series a go.
