According to the University of Texas at Austin's University Health Services Health Promotion Resource Center, a healthy relationship must have four components:
• Respect: You think highly of and are kind to one another. There is a sense of reciprocity in the relationship. • Communication: You are able to open-up and be yourselves with each other. You can talk honestly, show affection, laugh, and cry with each other. You listen and are heard. • Honesty/Trust: This is the foundation for a relationship, but you have to earn it. Trust isn’t automatic – it comes after you get to know each other. • Understanding: You are able to put yourself in your partner’s shoes.
Then the memo goes straight into the dangers of STI or sexually transmitted infections and advises students on how they can protect themselves against these. So I guess that's one definition of relationship and how to make it really healthy. :=)

its a constant reevaluation of all relationships that are based on mutual lack, pain, fear or poverty of spirit. If the relationship has been built on the support of each other around mutual wounds, then this basis for support will need to be shifted to one that involves sharing around mutual abundance and personal power.
"vulnerability" - acknowledges the transitional nature of physical reality and honors the enduring quality of the spiritual realm.
